Ikan's professional teleprompter series is ideal for quick and easy setup, enabling efficient work in outside broadcast applications or professional studios. The lightweight aluminum teleprompter features multiple 3/8-16” and 1/4-20” mounts for easy attachment to a pedestal. The 15” talent monitor lets the talent check their appearance and framing without looking away from the lens. With high-quality 70/30 American-made teleprompter glass, it offers perfect reflection and pass-through without image distortion. The 1000-nit monitor ensures a crisp and visible prompting image under both sunlight and studio lighting. Our teleprompters are compatible with a wide range of cameras, thanks to three different camera mount bases and counterweights. The adjustable base allows for easy weight adjustment. The complete system comes in custom-cut, protective foam, making setup and breakdown a breeze. The custom foam fits snugly in the PT-CASE-V2, protecting components during transit. The talent monitor is shipped in its own SKB hard case with custom foam. Key features include travel cases for the teleprompter and talent monitor, a 1000-nit high-bright monitor, high-quality American-made 70/30 beam splitter glass, a screen readable up to 17′, an easy-to-install 15” talent monitor, multiple camera mounting options, easy balancing with an adjustable base, a lightweight and compact design, reusable foam for easy transport, monitor image flip support, free PrompterPro software for MAC & PC, and HDMI, composite, and VGA inputs.
Using the Ikan PT4500-TM-TK teleprompter is straightforward. First, set up the teleprompter base on a pedestal using the available 3/8-16” and 1/4-20” mounts. Then, attach the bracket with glass and the teleprompter hood. Install the 15” talent monitor using the provided mount. Connect your camera to the teleprompter using one of the compatible camera mount bases and adjust the counterweights for balance. You can slide the base to fine-tune the weight. For the monitors, connect them to a power source using the AC adapter and cords. Use the AV COMPOSITE, HDMI, or VGA inputs to connect your video source. You can flip the image horizontally or vertically as needed. When traveling, place all components in the custom-cut foam in the travel cases. Make sure the glass and other delicate parts are well-protected. Keep the cases locked with a padlock for security. As for maintenance, clean the glass gently with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials. Check the mounts and connections regularly to ensure they are tight. Store the teleprompter in a dry place when not in use. With proper care, your Ikan teleprompter will serve you well for a long time.
